2011/2012

This year instead of writing down goals and resolutions (that will never get accomplished) I decided to make it a little more fun. I listed things I accomplished last year and things I want to do this year. FUN things! Not only things I need to work on but also things I really want to do just for fun. If I don't accomplish them this year I can roll them over or get rid  of them!  Whatever I want, no pressure
Here's what I have so far...

Things I accomplished in 2011

1.       I was pregnant pretty much all year and exercised up until I was 6 months preggo… then after 43 hours of labor I had my baby boy

2.       My mother and I grew closer

3.       I took 7 credit hours at college, only missed days I was deathly ill and was right back in class the week after Beckham was born.  I got an A and B+

4.       Jared and I have been married one year and neither of us killed the other

2012 Bucket List

1.       FEEL GOOD about my body… no weight goals, no counting calories.  Eat well, exercise when I can and don’t go insane about how I look

2.       Disneyland

3.       Take a Honeymoon vacation

4.       See both sides of our families at least once

5.       Surprise hubby with something he really wants

6.       Take a day out of life and spend it with each of my grandparents getting to know them more

7.       Go to a concert

8.       Do FHE at least once a month

9.       Say nightly prayers

A New Year!

Well, I officially haven't posted in the new year yet so here we go!
Quick re-cap on Christmas...
Beckham had a tummy ache becaue I gave him formula... but we still were able to be with family and enjoy ourselves all day!  We spent skyping with my family, listened to a GREAT talk given by Jared's step dad, were able to have Christmas morning with Jared's dad and siblings then Christmas day/night with his Mom and overall it was a fun day :)
We made the road trip home on New Years day and drove the 26 hours home in one straight shot.  Beckham caught a nasty cough and we took him to the hospital.  He was diagnosed with RSV  and we were in the hospital for 2 days... it was horrible.  Poor baby had trouble breathing and his cough was so sad.  Finally we were sent home with oxygen on Saturday and here we are.  He still needs to get suctioned out at least once a day.  We are now on day ten of RSV and usually it goes away after two weeks so we're crossing our fingers he gets better by this weekend.
Here's a video of us in the hospital.

Beckham loves his bath time!

And of course he loves his grandma

I really wouldn't have been able to make it through this whole thing without the support from my friend Cassie.  She has helped me out so much by letting me borrow random things I have needed, given me advice, brought me dinner and just has been here to talk to.  I hope I can do that for someone someday and be there for them 100%.
Dad comes home in a week from tomorrow!  I am so excited to see him.  It has been a long year for our family and here it is finally time for him to come home :)
My Sweet Boys!
